Stanford Yazzie, Bracelet, Kingman Turquoise, Tufa Cast, Navajo Handmade, 6 5/8"

Description

Navajo silversmith Stanford Yazzie made this spectacular bracelet. He uses an interesting piece of water webbed blue Kingman Turquoise that he cut himself. The Arizona stone sits high above the thick bezel that brings your immediate attention to the American rock. Stanford styles the silver with deep stamped designs across the wide mirror shined sterling silver cuff. He uses tufa casting techniques to create the piece. At each end Stanford has tapered the silver for a comfortable fit and an easy on and off. The bracelet might be made in the old traditional ways but it has a style that gives it a wonderful contemporary look.
