Description

Navajo artist Hank Whitethorne makes many interesting pieces of art. This bolo shows off his amazing lapidary talents. He has taken pieces of spiny oyster shell, coral, lapis, jet and turquoise to fill this piece. The design is Hank's interpretation of Navajo Mountain, a remote and traditional part of the Navajo Nation and where Hank comes from. He has strung the large piece on a braided leather cord and finished it with another inlay pieces that brings the tie together right before the finishing tips. We are fortunate to have the work of Hank's on the online Trading Post, enjoy looking around.
