Berra Tawahongya, Bracelet, Blessings, Silver Overlay, Hopi Handmade, 7"

Description

The Hopi People are the Americas oldest known Indian group. Stories have been passed down for thousands of years keeping traditions and mythologies alive. You can not grow up in this area and not here some fascinating stories. Many of those stories revolve around the sun. Hopi artist Berra Tawahongva decorates this wide and heavy silver cuff honoring the fruits of the sun's labor. This area produces talented dry farmers who are masters at making the crops grow in the desert. Of course, the Hopi have many blessing ceremonies for a good harvest. You will find the cuff filled with more Hopi inspired designs that bring out the importance of the harvest.
