Raynard Scott, Buckle, Turquoise, Overlay Design, Navajo Handmade, 1 1/4" Belt

This beautiful sterling silver belt buckle was made by Navajo artist Raynard Scott. It has been given a contemporary design accomplished by using silver overlay techniques. Ray uses the repetitive rug pattern across the entire buckle. He brings out the design by creating a layer with a very smooth finish over a rough texture along with a mirror shined smoother top layer. A single piece of sky blue turquoise has been used to enhance the beauty of the piece. Ray filled the silver with his unique signature style. Now all you need is the perfect piece of leather.
