Henry Roanhorse, Necklace, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, C.1990s, 25"
Henry Roanhorse, Necklace, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, C.1990s, 25"
I can’t imagine how many of these Necklaces Navajo silversmith Henry Roanhorse made. It is a combination of great looking turquoise and traditional Navajo design. The necklace is a stunning piece with heavy silver work and Navajo Pearls. This Necklaces showcases a collection of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stones. It is almost impossible to find these stones anymore. They are filled with that classic deep blue and black nugget matrix. The necklace is 30 plus years old and is the desired necklace of the locals. Now you just need to find one of his cluster bracelets to go with the necklace.
