Martin Panteah, Bracelet, Circa 1970s, Inlay Kachina, Wide, Zuni Handmade, 6 1/2"

Zuni artist Martin Panteah was very creative and continued his family's style of inlay art. The silver is given a unique look with the combination of twisted wire??and square overlay wires surrounding inlay work. This stunning cuff houses ten pieces of amazing carved gold lip shell, creating a unique Zuni look. The center of the wide bracelet has a piece of shell that has been inlaid with a kachina design. This bracelet is 40 + years old and in magnificent shape. Martin along with his brothers Wayne, Florentine and Augustine were innovators.
