Gilbert Martin, Squash Blossom Necklace, Kingman Turquoise, Earrings, Navajo 21"
Gilbert Martin, Squash Blossom Necklace, Kingman Turquoise, Earrings, Navajo 21"
The squash blossom necklace is the official necklace for the state of New Mexico. It has fashioned front covers of magazines and fills tourism billboards around the state, it is a beautiful symbol of New Mexico. Navajo silversmith Gilbert Martin creates this gorgeous squash blossom necklace in a classic double bead style. This amazing creation is an old style inspired necklace with turquoise on the sandcast naja. It reminds me of something Cate Blanchett would wear in The Missing, rustic and authentic. You can’t imagine how good you will look wearing this handmade Navajo treasure.
