Navajo revival silversmith Calvin Martinez made this beautiful concho belt. It will take you back to many of those first phase Navajo pieces when the silver work was the focus of the piece. The belt has 10 pieces that begin with a magnificent rectangle buckle that is home to a cluster of spider web turquoise. Calvin designs the nine complimenting oval conchos that are all stamp work. The border is filled with more stamp design and has an eye intriguing scalloped edge. A heavy gauge of silver gives the belt a solid feel and with the antique finish you will find this piece looking right at home on the genuine brown leather. I can’t think of a better way to show your appreciation of Navajo silver than with a Calvin Martinez piece.
