Lincoln Zunie, Buckle, Frontier Wagon, Multi Stone, Inlay, Zuni Handmade, 2.75
Lincoln Zunie, Buckle, Frontier Wagon, Multi Stone, Inlay, Zuni Handmade, 2.75
Helen & Lincoln Zunie made inlay works for decades and became known for their unique style. The style of their work is very appealing, and the size of the inlay is large making their bolos very visible from some distance off. Collectors from all over the world recognize a Zunie piece, and their work has been featured in many Native American art books. After Helen's passing Lincoln continued to make the work. It doesn't appear any of the grandchildren have continued the style after Lincoln's recent passing. This is one of their famous designs, a wagon with moving wheels. Just like those that brought the many settlers to the Southwest. A collection of mother-of-pearl shell, spiny oyster shell, jet and turquoise make the wagon. You don?t see this one that often, don?t hesitate to add this to your collection. 141.1 g
