Tom Lewis, Bracelet, Water Web Kingman Turquoise, Navajo, 7"
If you collect turquoise, you are probably familiar with names like Lander Blue, Bisbee, Lone Mountain, and Morenci. Those are legendary mines here in the Southwest and are very desirable. Maybe the most famous of all turquoise mines is Number Eight. This Kingman stone in the picture has been filling Navajo silver for many years. Known for its legendary web matrix. Silversmith Tom Lewis used this Kingman cut to make a modern traditional style bracelet. He has used a combination of silver cutouts with a mirror polished finish. The comfortable split shank is decorated with a center stone and no stamping on the sides. This is a great everyday bracelet that will show off your Southwest style.
