The cluster of Sleeping Beauty Turquoise needlepoint stones sit on a big oval sterling silver background that has been cut out in the middle. You will notice around the stones it is difficult for the artist to polish the silver, giving it that dark background that really makes the color of the blue Sleeping Beauty Turquoise stand out.
