Thomas Jim, Bracelet, Kingman Web Turquoise, Navajo, 7"
Thomas Jim, Bracelet, Kingman Web Turquoise, Navajo, 7"
Navajo silversmith Thomas Jim comes from an area known for excellent silversmiths. The Winslow, Arizona area is home to Steven J Begay, Ned Nez, Mary Tom and a number of other well-known artists. It was also where Thomas Curtis came from. This bracelet is a cluster of sterling silver cutouts. They surround an incredible piece of Kingman Turquoise. The legendary Arizona rock has a vibrant blue color that is filled with a web of matrix. Thomas uses an antique brushed finish against an oxidized background to bring out the great style of the cuff. A comfortable two-wire bracelet shank finishes the piece. Check out the online Trading Post for more of his inspiring work, or request for pictures of what is available in the store.
