Gary Reeves, Coin Silver Bracelet, Mediterranean Coral, Navajo Handmade, 7 1/8"
Gary Reeves, Coin Silver Bracelet, Mediterranean Coral, Navajo Handmade, 7 1/8"
Navajo silversmith Gary Reeves made this stunning coin silver cuff. He brought this silver and coral creation to life with his hands. The bracelet is made by old techniques that require lots of hammering and heat. On each end of the cuff Gary has created large oval bump out that gives the piece a wonderful old Navajo style. You will also find stamp work, silver drops, and cutouts along with decorated edge to fill the piece with a magnificent Southwest style. In the center of the cuff is a spectacular display of beautiful red Mediterranean Coral. The stones have been set in a classic Navajo cluster pattern. All of the perfectly matched small square coral stones look fabulous against the antique brushed finished silver. Coin silver is what the first Navajo silversmiths used, and when you hold a piece of handwrought jewelry in your hands you just feel the difference.
