If you get a chance read the Book of Hopi. It is a fascinating read that talks about the emergence of the Hopi into this Fourth World. Where the different clans are required to go on migrations to the four corners of the world. The Hopi believe that the Pueblos along the Rio Grande and the Zuni are Hopi but are groups that did not complete the migrations. The Zuni and Hopi have many very similar beliefs and cultural practices. Zuni artist Frank Lahaleon draws on those similarities to create his unique pieces of wearable art.
