Monty Claw, Ring, Number Eight Turquoise, Tufa Cast, Navajo Handmade, 7 1/2
Description
Legendary Number Eight Turquoise from Nevada has been used in Navajo silver since the 1920s. However, some would argue that this blue and black Number Eight is harder to get your hands on then Lander Blue Turquoise. You just don’t find this stone unless you come across a piece of old jewelry. This stone came out of a circa 1950s squash blossom necklace that needed to be modified. Navajo artist Monty Claw has taken the stone and set it in a bow style carved ring. The color is incredible and looks right at home in this old style creation.
