Arland Ben, Bracelet, Edward Curtis Canyon de Chelly Inspired, Navajo, 6 5/8"
Description
Award-winning artist Arland Ben makes magnificent works of wearable art. He is also an avid photographer and captures a number of stunning images from around the Four Corners. His love of Native American culture naturally led him to the works of Edward Curtis who toured our country in the early 1900s to capture a way of life that was going to be lost very soon. One of Edward Curtis's famous works is two ladies collecting water from the river in Canyon de Chelly. Arland Ben takes that historical work and turns it into this fascinating bracelet. You will be blown away by the detail of the work. He uses over four different layers of silver to create the work.
