Spider Woman took a young Navajo girl in Canyon de Chelly and taught her how to weave. That young girl in return went out and taught other Navajo woman how to weave rugs and that is how it began. Navajo artist Darryl Dean Begay recreates the story in this incredible cuff. You find a traditional dressed Navajo woman along with the steep cliffs of Canyon de Chelly carved into the silver. Plus, you see Spider Woman herself below the woman. Set in the face of the woman is a piece so spider webbed turquoise, A Lone Mountain Turquoise stone that fits right into the theme of the cuff.
