The Thunderbird is a mythical creature of the Southwest who possesses much power. You will find the Thunderbird part of many North American tribes mythology. This powerful spirit takes on the form of a bird in the Navajo culture and delivers a warrior. Navajo artist Darryl Dean Begay carved this magnificent belt buckle from tufa stone. Darryl carves the Thunderbird to take up a significant part of the buckle. You will find lightning bolts with arrowheads firing off to the Four Corners.
