Aaron Anderson, Necklace, Pueblo Dragonflies, Coral, Navajo Handmade, 22"

Description

Navajo tufa cast artist Aaron Anderson does some pretty incredible things with his art. He doesn’t carve many of those traditional Navajo designs, but instead takes from tradition and tweaks it into his amazing looks. This time he has turned his silver into a very unique necklace. It is all about pueblo dragonflies. He hand carves seven dragonflies that all have a different end. Each one is filled with a dark red branch Mediterranean Coral stone. At the bottom Aaron has finished the necklace with a classic cluster Navajo naja with more of the impressive coral. He hangs everything on rustic brushed sterling silver beads. A really cool piece to have in your collection of Native American wearable art.
