Aaron Anderson, Pendant, Tomahawk, Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 2 3/4" x 1 1/2"
We think of the tomahawk as a weapon, but this versatile creation was a very important tool for the Native American. It was used for many things including the important task of hunting. Navajo silversmith Aaron Anderson crafted this pendant out of tufa rock, a fascinating tomahawk design. The top of the tomahawk displays a beautiful piece of Chinese turquoise that reveals a a deep blue color that is filled with a spider web matrix. You will appreciate the detail of wooden (silver) handle. A large bail finishes the pendant, something that will allow you to wear this with many different style necklaces.
