Stanford Yazzie, Naja Pendant, Number Eight Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 3 1/2"
Stanford Yazzie, Naja Pendant, Number Eight Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 3 1/2"
The naja hasn't changed much since the first days of Navajo silversmithing. Navajo artist Stanford Yazzie uses those early creations for the inspiration behind this magnificent turquoise pendant. Like those najas this large piece was made using casting techniques. Stanford uses a large piece of Number Eight Turquoise to decorate this stunning creation. The showcases that wonderful Mother of Earth natural texture created by the texture of the tufa stone. You will find a Shepard's hook on the backside that will let you wear this on any necklace you choose.
