Zuni, New Mexico is a small village, we are talking something like 2,000 people. What it lacks in people it makes up in beauty. This Pueblo is surrounded by incredible landscape that includes lots of big trees and high red rock mesas. Plus, you have a couple of lakes that are a lot of fun to fish in the summer months. When you are done exploring the area you pick up an excellent meal at Chu Chu's where you can enjoy a great pizza. Not only will the scenery blow you away, but the Zuni art is just as eye pleasing. The jewelry makers of this area are known for their stone skills. That shows in this Kingman Turquoise pierced earring. The long dangles are handmade by Zuni artist Jeanita Yatsatie that show off 6 bright blue stones each.
