Navajo Handmade, Pendant, Number Eight Turquoise, Unsigned, Circa 1950s, 1.6
Navajo Handmade, Pendant, Number Eight Turquoise, Unsigned, Circa 1950s, 1.6
This 1950's Navajo pendant is all about the incredible piece of American turquoise. Number Eight Turquoise has been filling Navajo silver since the 1920s. This rock is one of those very collectible blue and black spider web Number Eight stones. The pear shaped beauty sits in a classic Navajo setting. Graduated silver drops make their way around the stunning stone. You can tell this one is old due to the smooth edges of the silver. It is very difficult to find this color of Number Eight. Finished with a bail that will accommodate a small chain or leather rope necklace. 9.8 grams
