Navajo Handmade Bracelet, Circa 1980s, Kingman Turquoise, Unsigned, 6 7/8”
Navajo Handmade Bracelet, Circa 1980s, Kingman Turquoise, Unsigned, 6 7/8”
It always amazes me how many contemporary artists use techniques to make their silver and turquoise creations appear aged. Collectors are just attracted to this older look and the rustic beauty of the aged Navajo handmade piece. One look at this circa 1980s bracelet and you realize why so many artists want to recreate the look. A stunning patina of the silver, a range of blues among the stones because of age, and the comfortable smoothness of a well worn piece. This bracelet is filled with four rows of Kingman Turquoise. All of the stones are surrounded by a combination of silver drops and twisted wire. The bracelet is unsigned and is a Navajo handmade piece.
