Freddie Maloney, Squash Blossom Necklace, Kingman Turquoise, Navajo Made, 23"
Navajo silversmith Freddie Maloney is surrounded by family that makes silver. His relatives include the Reeves and Cadmans. He also spent time in the workshop of legendary metalsmith Harry Morgan where he learned the art of traditional Navajo silver and stone. He has taken twenty-four pieces of gorgeous Kingman Turquoise stones and turned them into a traditional Navajo squash blossom necklace. You will find the stones surrounded by silver drops that makes all your attention go to the fabulous blue Arizona rocks. The twelve blossoms lead to the cluster Naja that is the perfect ending to another excellent piece of wearable art by Freddie. Everything is strung on sterling silver beads and given a rustic brushed finish.
