Tom Lewis, Ring, Number Eight Turquoise, Sterling Silver, Navajo Made, 10 1/2
Tom Lewis, Ring, Number Eight Turquoise, Sterling Silver, Navajo Made, 10 1/2
If you collect turquoise you are probably familiar with names like Lander Blue, Bisbee, Lone Mountain, and Morenci. Those are legendary mines here in the Southwest and are very desirable. Maybe the most famous of all turquoise mines is Number Eight. This stone has been filling Navajo silver for over 100 years. Known for its legendary spider web matrix. Silversmith Tom Lewis used this Number Eight cut to make an old style ring. He has used a combination twisted wire, bead wire, and cutouts along with a brushed antique finish. The comfortable split ring shank is decorated with more traditional Navajo stamp work. This is a great everyday ring that will show off your rustic Southwest style.
