Lenny, Edith Lonjose, Bracelet, Nevada Turquoise, Zuni Handmade, 6 3/4"
Lenny, Edith Lonjose, Bracelet, Nevada Turquoise, Zuni Handmade, 6 3/4"
Before she was Edith Tsabetsaye she was Edith Lonjose. She would make jewelry with her former husband Lenny, and it was done in a classic Zuni cluster style. This is a collector’s piece that shows her early hallmark. The cluster is done with beautiful cuts of Nevada turquoise that are almost free of any matrix deposits, possibly Lone Mountain Turquoise. All of the stones sit on a three-wire shank and have been decorated with twisted wire and silver drops. Edith has cut three different shaped stones to make the large cluster piece. You are going to fall in love with the traditional design and this will become your favorite piece of Native American jewelry.
