Wilford Henry, Sandcast Bolo, Sonoran Gold Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 44"
Wilford Henry, Sandcast Bolo, Sonoran Gold Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 44"
Navajo silversmith Wilford Henry works this silver into a stunning silver bolo. Right in the center a piece of Sonoran Gold Turquoise has been set. This bluish green rock looks right at home in the traditional Navajo silver. You are going to love the curves of the silver, something accomplished by the classic sandcasting technique. Look closely, you will notice the design has been inspired by cornstalks. It is finished with sterling silver tips and a braided leather cord. Sandcast silver always captures the beauty of the Four Corners.
