Joelias Draper, Squash Blossom Necklace, Kingman Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 24”
Joelias Draper, Squash Blossom Necklace, Kingman Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 24”
Young Navajo silversmith Joelias Draper must have been inspired by the squash blossom necklaces his grandmother would have worn when he made this piece. The style will take you back to the 1970s with the big silver presentation. Joelias uses a collection of Kingman Turquoise stones when he makes this 18 stone necklace. All of the Arizona rocks showcase a rich blue with hints of matrix. Everything leads to the heavy silver wire naja filled with a cluster of stone. Finished with sterling silver and shiny and brushed silver finishes. A pair of faded blue jeans, some cowboy boots, and a life free attitude will make this look right at home on you.
