Gary Custer, Pendant, Naja, Kingman Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 2 1/4"
Gary Custer, Pendant, Naja, Kingman Turquoise, Navajo Handmade, 2 1/4"
Navajo tufa cast artist Gary Custer is attracted to those old styles of Navajo art. The naja has been a part of Navajo silver making since the craft was first introduced. It used to be a design that was incorporated into a horse bridle. Eventually it began to sit at the bottom of the popular squash blossom necklace. This gorgeous piece is a double naja and also finds a gorgeous Kingman Turquoise nugget set in the center. Hang this from a piece of stressed leather or sterling silver chain for an authentic look.
