Lee Begay, Belt Buckle, Silver Creek, Sacred Buffalo, Navajo Handmade, 1 1/2"
Lee Begay, Belt Buckle, Silver Creek, Sacred Buffalo, Navajo Handmade, 1 1/2"
The white buffalo holds sacred powers among the Native American people. This powerful symbol is the inspiration behind Navajo silversmith Lee Begay’s belt buckle. He carves the powerful buffalo from tufa stone and cast the buckle with the earthy texture of the rock. Lee uses a piece of Silver Creek to represent the white color and different polishes to bring out the detail of beautiful carving. Lee decorates the buckle with a plains backdrop. Now all you need is a good genuine leather belt and some blue jeans. Check out the online Trading Post for more of Lee’s award-winning style.
