Navajo Bracelet, Blue Gem Turquoise, Large Stone, Unsigned, Circa 1940s, 6 5/8"

Description

It is always amazing to me when I come across a piece of jewelry that was made over 50 years ago looks this good. Navajo jewelry is meant to be worn daily and I am sure this bracelet was no exception. You are going to be impressed by the size of this turquoise stone. Blue Gem Turquoise is one of those classic American mines that captures the imagination of blue rock enthusiasts. It is a stone you don't see very often in new creations but is readily available in vintage works. The traditional Navajo wire work around the stone is beautiful and reminds you of the early Navajo works.
