Navajo silversmith Melvin Francis and Navajo lapidary artist Eugene Chee have collaborated on a number of handmade creations. Each is a master at their craft and when their work is combined you get an amazing piece of wearable Navajo art. This cuff is filled with colors that capture the beauty of the New Mexican desert. Eugene has used red, purple and orange spiny oyster shell to fill the cuff with color. The stones sit inside a heavy sterling silver border. A large display of small and large mosaic cut stones are puzzled together. Melvin gives the stone work the perfect amount of enhancing silver design.
