Award-winning artist Darryl Dean Begay has become a master of tufacast. He carves magic into this volcanic stone, and turns out some breath taking art. The silver reveals the earthy texture of the tufa stone. Darryl makes this ring in a two step process. First, carving the beautiful dragonfly fly and then the pouring the silver for the band into a cuttle bone mold. The stunning dragonfly is filled with a deep red cut of Mediterranean Coral. You will find the coral dragonfly fits the silver band perfectly, and the long wings really brings your attention to the rock.
