Aaron John, Bracelet, Thunderbird, Turquoise, Coral, Navajo Handmade, 6 5/8"

Description

The Thunderbird is protector. This majestic spirit represents power and strength and is an important part of the Zuni culture. That means all of us in Gallup are very familiar with this symbol that can switch into human form. Navajo artist Aaron John beautifully constructs the Thunderbird using two layers of thick sterling silver. He proceeds to decorate the spirit with traditional stamp work, coral, and sky-blue turquoise. Aaron uses a comfortable three wire bracelet shank to finish the piece. You are going to be impressed with this piece and feel the power of the Thunderbird every time you put it on.
