Zuni Handmade Bracelet, Circa 1960s, Lone Mountain Turquoise, Cluster, 7"

A number of legendary names are associated with this classic Zuni style. Artist like Warren & Doris Ondelacy, Robert & Bernice Leekya, Mary & Lee Weebothee, and Alice Quam all made amazing cluster bracelets. Today, this style is only being made by a few remaining Zuni artists that were taught the techniques. This bracelet is not hallmarked but shows the design we attribute to Warren & Doris as well as Alice Quam. A cluster of Lone Mountain Turquoise stones make up the piece and set on a substantial three triangle wire bracelet shank. If you don't have one of these classics in your collection you will definitely want to add one.
