For years collectors had made the journey to the Pueblo of Zuni to visit the home of husband and wife, Dennis & Nancy Edaakie, hoping to purchase a piece of their work. Then it became the son and his wife's turn, Derrick and Nichelle Edaakie. This bolo and buckle set displays a beautiful deep red cardinal. The detailed bird sits on a shell tree limb that displays leaves and berries. Both pieces have a inlay border of jet, coral, and jet. Derrick & Nichelle made this set in a very good size that showcases their award-winning mosaic inlay, a must have for any Zuni collection.
