This amazing big stone squash blossom comes out of our vintage collection and is a circa 1970s creation. The necklace is Navajo handmade and does not have an artist hallmark, which is very common for this age of silver. When you drive into Gallup, NM from the west you pass a sign declaring the area the source for Native American Art and the squash blossom is used to send that message, it is an iconic symbol of Navajo silver and stone. The amount of Morenci Turquoise found in this piece is mind blowing. A total of 21 big cuts of Morenci fill this classic squash blossom necklace, and each shows of that amazing Morenci character.
